Brett Evans
As the Managing Director of RubberTough Industries, Brett brings over 25 years of expertise to the rubber surfacing industry. His dedication to innovation keeps the company at the forefront of industry trends. Brett’s extensive global travels ensure Australia benefits from the most up-to-date data available.
Brett also serves on the Board of Directors for Australian Surfacing Supplies, where his industry knowledge contributes to advancements in synthetic softfall products.
Meet Our Chief Operating Officer
Nathan Evans
Appointed as Chief Operations Officer in January 2025, Nathan brings with him a cache of transferable skills to the industry which stem from a 10 year career with Victoria Police.
Since his time on board, Nathan has invested a significant portion of time into systems integration and streamlining of the sales processes.
Nathan envisions sustainable growth within the next few years at RubberTough, with the introduction of some new and exciting ventures. Stay tuned for more!
Matt Parsons
Sales Manager
Matt’s journey with RubberTough spans 15 years. His extensive experience in rubber laying, including roles as Team Leader & Operations Manager, makes him a technical expert. As a Sales Manager now, Matt guides clients with a can-do attitude, ensuring the best surfacing solutions. He’s adept at answering all your technical questions and queries.
Brenton McNamara
Sales Executive
Brenton has spent his entire working career as a sales person in various industries. RubberTough was lucky enough to pick him up over 3 years ago where he has continued to fine tune his skills as a quality estimator. With two young children of his own, Brenton is passionate about providing quality play spaces for young (and old) kids to enjoy for many years.
Tom McConville
Technical Sales Executive
Rising from the ashes of the site crew like a phoenix spreading his wings, Tom has made his way into the sales team as our Technical Sales Executive. Starting out as a labourer, Tom worked his way up to Team Leader before making the leap from site to the office.With years of hands on experience under his belt, he knows rubber inside and out, bringing plenty of practical knowledge, a straight-up approach and a knack for finding the right soloution to just about any challenge. If it’s rubber, grass or stone related, Tom’s your guy. And if he doesn’t know the answer…he’ll probably tell you he does anyway!
Nikolaj Pedersen
Operations Manager
Born in Denmark and sounding like a natural born killer (in reality, far from it), Nikolaj is the friendly face behind RubberTough’s coordination and project scheduling. Nikolaj is the glue that binds the sales office to the site crews and the projects to our clients.
Andrea Palwizat
Accounts & Office Manager
Andrea joined RubberTough in 2017 as our Accounts Officer and Office Manager. With years of experience in accounts, she ensures our office runs smoothly through creative problem-solving and a positive attitude. Andrea is the go-to for any account and office-related queries, providing excellent support.
Kirsty Allen
Procurement & Sales Support
After starting her journey behind the reception desk, Kirsty quickly showed that she was able to take on additional responsibilites and found herself in the position of procurement & sales support. Kirsty works closely with the warehouse, ensuring that our site crews have adequate material to get the job done. If you have a ramp enquiry, Kirsty is your go-to gal
Melissa Lockhart
Administration
Mel is the friendly voice behind our phones and the smiling face that will greet you in reception. Mel will direct all enquiries to the correct team member and plays a vital support role with accounts and business operations
