Rubbertough was engaged by Elite Crossings to supply and install PlayKote Gezolan EPDM over SBR base rubber in varying thicknesses to meet the required playground specifications and Australian standards. The design by Land Projects used the indigenous theme to create many designs and symbols relating to our first nations people – including lizards, trees, snakes and incorporating traditional colours. The design was very intricate and detailed. It involved bright and contrasting colours from our PlayKote EPDM range. There were many colour changes throughout the surface. Our site crew knew careful planning was required to create the perfect seamless finish across the entire project. The intricate designs and many colour changes along with the weather did not make it this project easy for our crew but in the end the results were amazing with so many seamless colour changes throughout the surface area to compliment the awesome custom structure and play equipment manufactured and installed by Elite Crossings.
